

Corey Beahm

Corey Beahm is the Executive Director of the Family Resource Network of the Panhandle (FRNOTP), where he leads initiatives that foster community development and promote the well-being of individuals and families across the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia.
With a background in nonprofit management, community engagement, and workforce development, Corey is dedicated to creating sustainable, positive change through collaborative, community-driven solutions.
Born and raised in West Virginia, Corey has spent most of his life in Berkeley and Jefferson Counties, dedicating his career to helping fellow West Virginians reach their full potential. He is a national trainer with the Boys & Girls Club of America Trauma-Informed Network, a master trainer with WV Re-grounding Our Response and the WV ACEs Coalition, and the Anti-Stigma Coordinator for Region 2 with the WVODCP.
Additionally, he serves as a Community Health Research Ambassador for the WVCTSI and is a board member of the Inspiring Dreams Network. His passion for creative writing, music, and sports helps him build meaningful connections with children and families.
Corey is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied Community Development at Future Generations University, applying his academic training to implement evidence-based strategies that empower communities. Under his leadership, FRNOTP has partnered with organizations like Blue Ridge Community and Technical College, SPOKES, and local family support centers to provide essential services such as job readiness training, skill development, GED preparation, and mental health support.
As a non-traditional student who returned to higher education after 15 years, Corey exemplifies lifelong learning and resilience. He holds a B.S. in Political Science with a minor in Business and Organizational Communications and continues to channel his skills and passions into fostering stronger, healthier communities.
